It was quite the impressive performance for the St. Joseph Bears on Friday night. The scoring started off with an 80-yard strike from Matthew Lanier to Bobby Nate. Lanier would toss for another score in the second quarter, this time going to Riley Biggins for an 8-yard touchdown. Trey McGinnis would cap off the half with a 31-yard rushing touchdown to put the Bears up 21-0 at the break.

McGinnis would add another touchdown from 2-yards out in the third. Lakeview responded with a sneak from Jacob Kucharczyk. Trey McGinnis would top off the scoring for the Bears with a 70-yard touchdown to put the game out of reach. St. Joseph would win 35-14 over Lakeview.

Trey McGinnis was the headliner for the victorious Bears. McGinnis would rush for 225 yards on 17 carries and a hat-trick of touchdowns. Matthew Lanier added two scores through the air on just five completions for 120 yards. Bobby Nate scored an 80-yard touchdown on his only touch of the night as well, as Riley Biggens scoring from 5-yards on his only touch.

St. Joseph will hit the road next Friday to face off against Portage Central, while Lakeview play host to Portage Northern.
