The Forest Hills Central Rangers took on Byron Center on Friday night in a highly anticipated OK White showdown. FHC took this opportunity to deliver a statement to the area teams, pitching a 31-0 shutout against the Bulldogs.

Hunter Robinson led this offense once again from the quarterback position. Robinson attempted just nine passes, completing three. Two of those completions went to Ben Scholler for touchdowns. Scholler finished with 63 receiving yards and an interception on defense.

In addition to 80 rushing yards from Hunter Robinson, JT Hartman anchored the Rangers’ rushing attack. Hartman turned 15 carries into 110 yards and a score.

Multiple special teams units got on the scoreboard for Forest Hills Central. Jacob Bonnett sparked the punt return unit with a 55-yard return for a score. Luke Gustafson chipped in a 27-yard field goal.

Defensively, Ray Cargill led the way with 8 tackles. Tyler Weaver contributed 6 tackles of his own. This was the second shutout of the year for FHC. The Rangers also blanked Northview, 45-0, in Week 3.

Next week, the Rangers will look to wrap up their conference slate with a perfect league mark. Standing in their way are the East Grand Rapids Pioneers. Byron Center has now lost two straight games, sliding to 6-2 overall. They will face Lowell in the finale.
