Grandville 31 Jenison 26: Grandville cruised out to a 19-0 lead before the ‘Cats roared back. Brody Schuiteman ripped off a 45-yard touchdown run with 1:48 to play that gave Jenison a stunning 26-25 lead. Grandville would quickly respond with an 80-yard touchdown pass from Jeffrey Fogelsonger to DJ Hardiman, before Bralyen Haney sealed the game with an interception. Both Haney and Hardiman scored twice for Grandville.
Hudsonville 35 Rockford 28: Hudsonville raced out to a 28-0 lead before Rockford clawed back. Unlike the Muskegon game back in Week 2, the Rams were not able to complete this comeback, allowing the Eagles to remain perfect at 6-0.

Unity Christian 14 Zeeland West 6: The ‘Saders were held below their season average, but they remain perfect with this strong victory. Justin Febus and Carter Scholten connected on the first score, before Brandon Holman answered for the Dux. Already ahead 8-6, Jared DeVries iced the game with a 4-yard touchdown run. Neither team scored the entire second half. 14 points is the fewest that the ‘Saders have scored since their 20-14 loss to Zeeland West in 2019. It’s their fewest points in a win since beating Swan Valley 14-7 in the 2018 semifinals.

Byron Center 49 GR Union 6: Seven different Bulldogs found the end zone in their win over Union. Trent Swartz, Brady Hartson, Connor Nealon, Sam Emmitt and Hunter Pulawski all found the end zone in a rushing attack that racked up 326 yards. Easton Wychers and Tate Bainbridge paired up on a passing score, and Chase Swartz rounded out the action with a punt return touchdown. Union had just 97 yards of total offense.
Forest Hills Northern 40 Reeths-Puffer 27: The Huskies move to 3-3 on the year with a strong offensive showing. It was a two-headed rushing attack, with Owen Ostipow rushing for 147 yards and four touchdowns, while Colton Sawyer added 122 yards and a score. In defeat, Emcee Mclaurin was 10/12 passing, with three scores going for scores.

Hamilton 27 Forest Hills Eastern 14: It was only 7-0 Hamilton at halftime, and it was 7-7 moments into the second half. Hamilton responded with 20 unanswered points to pull away from the Hawks. Hudsen Holst rushed for two of those final three touchdowns, while adding a third score on the 90-yard interception return.
Spring Lake 35 Wayland 14: Landon O’Donnell had a strong showing in the win that moves them to 3-3 on the season. He completed 3/4 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for a third.

Reed City 58 Tri-County 33: Andrew Kiaunis had a huge night for the Coyotes, as he scored five touchdowns. Jack Deitsch added an 88-yard kickoff return for the victors.

Central Montcalm 22 Morley Stanwood 8: The Hornets played their closest game of the conference slate, narrowly defeating the Mohawks. Central Montcalm jumped out to a 14-0 lead, and after Morley got a touchdown, Zayne Cooper iced the game. The senior set the school record with a 12th career interception, and moments later, he rushed for a 2-yard touchdown. Cooper’s interception was one of four for the Hornets defense.

Ludington 48 Manistee 6: Four second quarter turnovers spurred the Orioles to victory in this rivalry game. Cam Gunsell finished with seven total touchdowns (14 carries for 131 rushing yards and five touchdowns; 12/16 passing for 235 passing yards and two touchdowns).
Montague 39 North Muskegon 26: The Wildcats got out to a 26-6 lead before holding on for a win over the Norse. Montague completed their only pass attempt, while rushing for 482 yards on 52 carries. Devlin Dean had 15 carries for 177 yards and three scores, Cole Moss added seven carries for 151 yards and a score, and Eli Petersen finished with 24 carries for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

Orchard View 55 Fremont 28: The Cardinals match their most wins in any season since 2019 (3-6 in 2023) with this victory. OV rushed for 454 yards as a team. Ca’mari Reese had 14 carries for 288 yards and four scores, while Peyton Babbitt added 115 yards and three scores. In defeat, Aiden Hunt was 16/24 passing for 276 yards and two scores.

Martin 70 Muskegon Heights 6: The Clippers scored the first 64 points in this conference battle. Haylen Buell had a big night, passing for three touchdowns and rushing for two more. Seth Toris caught two touchdown passes and added five two-point conversions. Weson Elkins had two touchdowns as well, one rushing and one receiving. Zach Sherrod-Bentley and Corey Duncan connected on the lone Heights touchdown, an 18-yard pass.

Mendon 66 Bellevue 12: The Hornets move to 6-0 with a dominant showing against the Broncos. Mendon outgained Bellevue 439-125 with 368 rushing yards. Owen Gorham turned just five carries into 161 yards and three scores. Ryder Gorham had two passing touchdowns to Brayden Crites, and he also had a 71-yard punt return score. Zak Iobe also rushed for two touchdowns in the victory.
