Big Rapids 35 Chippewa Hills 19: The Cardinals remain unbeaten in the CSAA Gold after taking care of the Warriors. Chippewa Hills jumped out to a 13-0 lead, but Big Rapids responded with five unanswered touchdowns. Jack Bollman had 65 rushing yards and two scores for the victors, while Cole Haist completed 14/17 passes for 147 yards. Garrett Foster rushed for a team-high 72 yards and caught a team-high 7 passes for 66 yards. BR 4-1 (4-0) CH 2-3 (1-3)

Byron Center 15 Forest Hills Central 14: The Bulldogs pulled off a thrilling victory over the Rangers in one of the best games in the State of Michigan. After a scoreless first half, FHC jumped out to the lead on a touchdown pass from Mason McDonald to JT Hartman. Byron Center would answer with a pass from Landon Tungate to Isaac Lee. Hartman would use his legs to put the Rangers in front, but it wouldn’t be enough. With fifteen seconds to play, Kaden Krause broke across the goal line for Byron Center to put the Bulldogs within one. Coach Marc Cisco rolled the dice and kept his offense out there for the two-point try. As Tungate rolled away, Blake Ottow made a fantastic catch to win the ballgame. BC 5-0 (3-0) FHC 4-1 (2-1)

Forest Hills Eastern 21 Kenowa Hills 14: The Hawks were able to bounce back after a narrow defeat against South Christian last week. This week, they were again in a tough battle. With the score even at 14, the Hawks got a game-winning touchdown with seven minutes to play. Mark Fuehrer found Jake Heemstra on a 14-yard toss that gave FHE the win. Preston Hoexum led FHE offensively with 94 rushing yards, while Max Ferrick had 88 yards and a touchdown. Giles Ansmits paced Kenowa Hills in defeat with 108 rushing yards on 15 carries. FHE 4-1 (2-1) KH 2-3 (1-2)

Hamilton 44 Holland Christian 38: The Hawkeyes and Maroons played a thriller on Friday. Points were a plenty, but in the end, Hamilton secured a narrow victory. Eli Boyce was 30/52 passing for Holland Christian in defeat, racking up 379 yards and 4 touchdowns. Ethan Abberger hauled in 11 of 17 targets for 158 yards and a score, while Josh Bruxvoort added 6 catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns. HAM 4-1 (2-1) HC 2-3 (1-2)

Lowell 35 Greenville 14: The Red Arrows had little trouble defeating Greenville in OK White play on Friday night. Jackson Reisbig tossed a pair of touchdowns in this victory, as Lowell raced out to a 35-7 lead in the third quarter. In this win, Lowell outgained Greenville 437-156, including 308 yards on the ground. LWL 4-1 (2-1) GNV 1-4 (0-3)

Muskegon Catholic Central 27 Orchard View 6: The Crusaders and Cardinals met for the 27th time on the gridiron on Friday. Even though they are frequent foes, MCC has dominated this series. It was another chapter similar to the rest on Friday, as the Crusaders scored the first 27 points in this game. Bryan Convertini scored twice for MCC, turning 18 carries into 129 yards.

Oakridge 26 Fremont 14: The Eagles took down the Packers in WMC Lakes action on Friday. In defeat, Talen Reicher-Slater finished 13/28 passing for 150 yards and a score. OAK 3-2 (2-1) FRE 2-3 (0-2)

Saginaw Nouvel Catholic 41 St Louis 6: The Sharks struggled in this game, falling to Nouvel. Brayden Bloom and Nolan Wirgau paired up for the lone Sharks score, a 40-yard pass. SN 4-2 (3-1) STL 1-5 (0-4)

Tri-County 44 Morley Stanwood 6

Union 47 Wyoming 23: The Red Hawks returned to the win column with an offensive explosion against the Wolves. After the game was evened at 7, Union reeled off 26 unanswered points to create an insurmountable lead. Jesse Phillips rushed for 134 yards and four touchdowns on 11 carries for Union. Jack TerVeen paced Wyoming with 120 yards and two scores on 19 carries. UNI 2-3 (1-2) WYO 0-5 (0-3)

Wayland 17 Middleville 14: The Wildcats edged out the Trojans in the latest chapter of this annual rivalry showdown. Wayland jumped out to a 10-0 lead with a short Nate Winchel field goal and a Hudson Biondo touchdown run. Middleville bounced back with an Ethan Bonnema score, before Biondo responded with his second touchdown carry. Middleville would get another touchdown with Bonnema hauling in a touchdown pass, but they could not draw closer. WAY 3-2 (1-2) TK 0-5 (0-3)

Maple Valley 66 Lawrence 12: The Lions cruised to victory over the Tigers with a 40-point second quarter. Andrew Sheperd was once again the star for the victors with 146 rushing yards and 3 scores on 19 carries. Jakeb McDonald added a rushing touchdown and two passing scores. Both Lawrence touchdowns came from quarterback Ben McCaw, who rushed and passed for a score. Maple Valley had 468 yards of offense, including 396 on the ground. MV 5-0 (1-0) LWR 0-5 (0-2)

Mendon 80 Burr Oak 18: The Hornets remain undefeated with a record offensive performance against Burr Oak. Last fall, Mendon set a school record with 76 points against Lee. This week, they bested that with 80 points in just three quarters of play. Mendon led 44-12 after the first quarter, 66-18 at halftime and 80-18 after the third quarter. Jack McCaw led the way with 138 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns on just 12 carries. McCaw added a kick return touchdown and a passing score to James Lux. The touchdown catch was just one of three for Lux, who also crossed the goal line twice on the ground. With this defeat, Burr Oak has now been beaten in 15 straight games and 24 of the past 25 contests. MEN 5-0 (4-0) BURR 0-5 (0-3)
