Tri-County, led by David Sheehan, powered their way to their 5th win of the season over Morley-Stanwood, 42-0.

The 1st quarter started with a defensive show down, until the Vikings offense got to the 3-yard line with 3:30 remaining in the quarter. Trent Behrenwald rushed in for his only score of the day. The clock reached 30 seconds left in the quarter, when Sheehan dropped back to find Stuart Gould for a 75-yard touchdown pass. After 1, the Vikings led 12-0.

The 2nd quarter starts as the 1st quarter ended; Sheehan finds Gould, this time for 54-yards to the house. With three minutes left in the half, the Sheehan-Gould connection works again. Gould gets this touchdown reception from 73-yards out. With the clock showing under 10 seconds in the half, Sheehan will find Ian Boden for a 10-yard touchdown pitch and catch. At the half Tri-County leads Morley-Stanwood, 34-0.

As the 1st half ended, the 2nd half started, 4-minutes into the half, Sheehan finds Boden for a 35-yard touchdown. The scoring ended when the Vikings defense stepped up late in the 3rd quarter and recorded a safety. The final is 42-0, Tri-County over Morley-Stanwood

Morley-Stanwood goes to 0-5 and will host rival Kent City next week. The Vikings move to 5-0. They will hit the road against Central Montcalm in week six.
