Fremont defeated Grant 30-8 in a match-up of longtime conference rivals.

Connor Pettis would start out the scoring for Fremont, as he added a touchdown on the ground to give his squad the early lead. Justin Dirheimer ran for a 6-yard touchdown to follow, adding to the Fremont lead. Fremont would continue to add on in the second quarter, as Dirheimer ran for a 30-yard touchdown.

After the break, Fremont would be the first to score again, as Kyler DeKuiper‘s pass found Justin Dirheimer for 28 yards. Grant would finally get on the board of the touchdown up their own late in the fourth quarter, but it would be too little too late as Fremont would get the win.

Fremont, now 3-1, has the most wins by the program since 2014. They will return to WMC Lakes play against Oakridge next week. Grant (1-3) will face rival Newaygo next Friday.
