They would continue their scoring just shortly after, as Will Chye scored on a 39-yard run. Finishing out the first quarter, they would add another touchdown to the scoreboard, as Riley McLouth caught a 26-yard pass from Chye.

The second quarter would be no change to the game, as Mason County Central continued. A 33-yard pass from Will Chye added to their lead. It would be Peyton Merz with a 2-yard run shortly after. Mason County Central wasn’t done just yet, as right before the half, Jayden Perrone got in the end zone with a 5-yard run.

The second half saw just one touchdown scored in the game, thanks to the running clock. Tyler Thurow scored on a nice 69-yard run. The Mason County Central offense stole the show today, but their defense was stout as well holding the Red Devils to just 47 yards of total offense. This is the Spartans’ first shutout since their win over Shelby last season.
