The MHSAA Boys and Girls Basketball seasons are now behind us. Eight State Champions, four from each gender, were crowned over the past two weeks at Breslin Center. As the season comes to an end, we take a look back at the championships crowned at each level of the season.



Tri-Unity Christian Boys: The Defenders avenged their 2021 Division 4 title game defeat as they bested Ewen-Trout Creek in the 2022 title game, securing a 56-45 victory. The game went to overtime, where Tri-Unity outscored ETC 13-2. Brady Titus led Tri-Unity with 33 points. Owen Rosendall (9 points, 6 rebounds) and Hanif James (7 points, 7 rebounds) also had strong showings for Tri-Unity in the title game.
