GR Sacred Heart Academy 62 Barry County Christian 38: The Falcons remained undefeated, moving their record to 9-0 after taking down BCC. Noah Northon led the way with 21 points for Sacred Heart. Jack Blouw (14 points, 6 rebounds) and Sam Blouw (10 points, 8 rebounds) were also in double figures.

Mason County Eastern 56 Baldwin 51: The Panthers suffered their first loss in West Michigan “D” League action, suffering a 56-51 upset against the Cardinals of MCE. Carmelo Lindsey led Baldwin with 20 points.

Montague 57 Shelby 45: The Wildcats recorded a league victory over Shelby on Thursday. Tate Stine (13), Rodney Brassfield (10) and Tugg Nichols (10) all finished in double figures for Montague.

North Muskegon 51 Hart 24: The Norsemen breezed past the Pirates on Thursday. It was 9-6 after the first quarter, before North Muskegon won the next two quarters 19-6 and 15-4. Troy McManus led North Muskegon with 11 points and 8 rebounds, while Champ Young and James Young each had 7. Parker Hovey paced Hart with 14 points.

Pentwater 73 Big Rapids Crossroads Academy 20

Ravenna 56 Mason County Central 54: The Bulldogs held on against a scrapy MCC bunch on Thursday. Grant Becklin led the way with 20 points for Ravenna, and he added 7 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. Kyle Beebe chipped in 12 points, 4 blocks, 3 assists and 2 steals. Clay Schullo and Travis May each added 10 points, with Schullo adding 9 rebounds.

Whitehall 62 Oakridge 59: The Vikings edged the Eagles in WMC action on Thursday. Whitehall led by five after the first, and seven at halftime. Oakridge rallied with a 23-15 third quarter to jump ahead by a point. Whitehall closed with a 23-19 final frame. Oakridge led for a majority of that fourth quarter, before Whitehall took the lead back with two minutes to go. An inadvertent whistle created some late-game controversy, and Whitehall held on after that point. Brodie Fogus led Whitehall with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Camden Thompson added 14 points and 12 boards for the victors. Ethan Jozsa and Hunter Delora each had 17 points for Oakridge. Garrett Weaver added 11.

Calvin Christian 70 Godwin Heights 68: The Squires got a buzzer-beating lay-up from Carson DeHaan to take down the Wolverines on the road. DeHaan finished with 29 points, 27 of which came after halftime. Jakhary Towns led Godwin with 25 points.

Edwardsburg 66 Vicksburg 46: The Eddies secured another win in Wolverine Conference action against the Bulldogs. Isaac Merrill (16), Luke Stowasser (13) and Jacob Pegura (12) all finished in double figures for the Eddies. Vicksburg was led by Carter Brown, who had 11. Dylan Zemitans added 10.

Fremont 57 Tri-County 39: The Packers defeated the Vikings in CSAA Gold action. Jordan McDonald paced Fremont with 23 points, while Joey DeLong added 13. Ty Merlington (16) and Blake Nelson (13) were in double digits for Tri-County.

Grand Haven 65 Caledonia 48: The Bucs captured an OK Red victory at home against the Fighting Scots on Friday. Caledonia led 15-11 after the first, before Grand Haven secured a 29-27 halftime lead. The Bucs continued their roll in the second half, extending their final victory margin. Liam Mulnix led Caledonia with 14 points, while Nick Henry (12) and Nick Fox (10) were also in double figures. Bashir Neely (19) and Harrison Sorrelle (12) paced the victorious Bucs offensively.

Grand Rapids Christian 49 East Grand Rapids 40: The Eagles pulled out a narrow league victory over the Pioneers. Simon Neuhaus led EGR in scoring with 28 points, while Drew Caswell chipped in 8. The Pioneers are now 3-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Lawton 45 Fennville 43: The Blue Devils rallied to force overtime, defeating Fennville on a buzzer-beater by Jake Rueff. Rueff had 15 points, while Chase Mitchell had 19 to pace Lawton.

Ludington 64 Muskegon Catholic Central 38: The Crusaders suffered a tough loss to the Orioles. Coming off a ten-day layoff, MCC showed some rust with a 1/15 first quarter shooting day and 23 team turnovers. Jaden Johnson was able to record another double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Bryan Convertini added 8 points and 3 assists. Peyton LaCombe (14) and David Shillinger (10) were in double figures for Ludington.

Mona Shores 61 Zeeland East 39: The Sailors put together a collective offensive effort to defeat the Chix on Friday. Keonate Richards led the way with 16 points, while Parker Swartz added 15. JT Foster (9), Donovan Russell (8) and Ethan Krueger (8) all added to the offensive output. Jace Fenlon led the way for the Chix with 12.

Morley Stanwood 71 Hesperia 53: The Panthers were facing a tough Mohawks crew, and they came up short after a 21-6 first quarter advantage for Morley. Maddox Mosley led all scorers with 26 for Hesperia in defeat. Ian Fox, a freshman, added 16 for the Panthers. Aaron Moore led MS with 21 points.

Northpointe Christian 87 Hopkins 61: The Mustangs secured another OK Silver win against the Vikings. Brayden Wilkerson led NPC with 27 points, while Kayden Bird added 21.

Rockford 56 Hudsonville 54: The Rams escaped the grasps of the Eagles to improve their OK Red record. Caden Pokorzynski led the way for Rockford with 16, Andrew Landis added 11 and Jack Lamancusa chipped in 10. Mason Dykstra led Hudsonville with 16, while Aden Zank added 13.

Union 67 Holland 42: Coach Brandoen Guyton’s squad snapped an 18-game losing skid with a strong, complete game against the Dutch. It’s the team’s first win since March 5, 2020 when they beat Ottawa Hills. During their streak, they lost four games by seven or less, and had the Ottawa Hills game this December cancelled amidst a 55-55 tie.

West Catholic 70 Allendale 47: West Catholic secured an OK Blue victory in the ‘Battle of the Falcons’ on Friday. Kobe Kambestad led the victors with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Michael Morris added 19 points and 6 rebounds. Caleb Tuttle added 10 points as the third West Catholic player in double figures.

Western Michigan Christian 64 Orchard View 56: The Warriors captured a close Lakes 8 victory over the Cardinals. Jared Olsen paced WMC with 25 points, while Owen Varnado added 22.

Zeeland West 58 Reeths Puffer 47: The Dux took down the Rockets in an OK Green battle on Friday. Zeeland West hit 12 threes, including five in the third quarter. Merritt Alderink led ZW with 12 points, as the team had a balanced scoring attack. Bergen Loeprich (9), Lukas Bakker (8) and Drew Weenum (7) added to the scoring count. Travis Ambrose paced Puffer with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Clyde Bartee (8) and Logan Brooks (7) added strong scoring days.
