Forest Hills Northern 63 Grandville 54: The Huskies went to Cornerstone University and took down Grandville. Ethan Erickson led FHN with 20 points, while Trinidad Chambliss added 19. Tommy Gregwer led all scorers with 27 points for Grandville. The Huskies are now 11-1 on the season.

Montague 31 North Muskegon 29: It was a defensive battle in the WMC, but Montague edged out the Norsemen to capture the win. Montague was ahead by eleven points going into the fourth quarter, when they did not score a point, but they still managed to win the game. Troy McManus led North Muskegon with 10 points, while Drew Collins paced Montague with 9 points.

Muskegon 56 Kalamazoo Central 55: The Big Reds and Maroon Giants battled on Saturday in a non-league contest between perennial powers. It went down to the wire, and Jordan Briggs delivered the victory to Muskegon. He hit the tying three-pointer, and the winning free throw late in this ballgame.

Orchard View 82 Tri-Unity Christian 60: The Cardinals made another statement by taking down a strong Tri-Unity team on Saturday. Ke’ontae Barnes put on another display, scoring 31 points, adding 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists. Larry Brewster added 21 for Orchard View alongside 6 rebounds. Jay Jay Tunstull posted a 20-point night, along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Darius Williams had 11 assists to lead the Cardinals.

Rockford 67 Reeths-Puffer 63: The Rams and the Rockets battled to the brink on Saturday, needed three overtimes to crown a winner. In the end, Rockford secured a big victory against Puffer, moving the OK Red leader’s record to 12-1.

Schoolcraft 55 Pewamo-Westphalia 49: In a non-league battle at Cornerstone University on Saturday, the Eagles remained unbeaten. Tyler DeGroote led Schoolcraft with 19 points, Shane Ryske and Bryce VanderWiere each added 17 points.

South Christian 59 Byron Center 31: The Sailors’ defense carried them to a Saturday victory against the Bulldogs. Connor Dykema led SC with 15 points, while Elliot Grashuis added 14. Sam Meengs posted 11 points for the Sailors. Sawyer Wychers led BC with 10 points.

Hudsonville 62 Byron Center 43: The Eagles won a non-league game between two of the area’s top girls basketball teams. Hudsonville, who only lost to EGR this year, bested the Bulldogs (who beat EGR earlier this week). Maddie Petroelje led all scorers with 22 points for Hudsonville.

Reeths-Puffer 40 Zeeland East 33: The Rockets got the best of the Chix in a rematch of Thursday’s contest. Puffer built a seven-point first quarter lead, and they never relinquished it, winning by that same margin. Sophia Hekkema led Puffer with 11 points and five rebounds, while Ariel Walker (10) and Arrionna Williams (9) added strong scoring efforts as well.

Spring Lake 43 Holland Christian 36: The Lakers edged the Maroons to capture an OK Blue victory. It was 26-21 HC at halftime, but the Lakers closed with a 22-10 second half. Spring Lake hit 11 of 14 free throws to close out the ballgame. Meah Bajt had 15 points on 9/12 from the charity stripe, while Jennifer Judge had 15 points and 9 rebounds. Masen Carey chipped in 10 points.
