Whitehall beat Montague 60-8 in a lopsided victory in the annual “Battle for the Bell”.
Whitehall was firing on all cylinders tonight, and they were led by quarterback Kyle Stratton who threw for three touchdowns. Stratton would also lead his team in the rushing attack with 165 yards and two more scores.
Darnell Mack would also add two touchdowns on the ground for the Vikings, as their offense was nearly unstoppable. The Whitehall defense stepped up big tonight as well. They would sack Montague’s quarterback twice, and intercept him a total of four times. Nate Bolley led the way with two interceptions on the night. He would also have a punt return touchdown on his resume.
Whitehall was very convincing with their win tonight, as they now move to 4-0. They will look to keep the momentum rolling next week against Manistee. Montague, now 2-2, will look to recoup against Ludington.
