Offensive fireworks were on full display between Fruitport and Whitehall. In the end, the Vikings held off Fruitport for a 51-25 win.

In the first quarter, there was just a single move. Cody Nash carried an 8-yard touchdown. A failed conversation saw the Trojans ahead kist 6-0.

Whitehall answered back by setting the second quarter trend. The Vikings got things rolling with a 27-yard field goal by Landon Howe. On their next two possessions, Jackson Howe capped off drives with touchdown runs of 1 and 8 yards. Kyle Stratton‘s 41-yard touchdown run and four PATs from Landon howe gave Whitehall a 24-6 halftime lead.

Paschal Jolman broke free with a 90-yard touchdown sprint early in the third quarter. Kyle Stratton countered with his own trip to the end zone, pushing the lead back out to 19. Throughout the 3rd quarter, there were six touchdowns scored. Paschal Jolman, Cody Nash and a kickoff return by Jolman crossed the goal line for Fruitport. Whitehall scored on a 4-yard Stratton run, an 11-yard Stratton pass to Trannor Aylor, and a kickoff return touchdown from Nate Bolley.

Ahead by 19 points, Whitehall finished off the game with a 14-yard touchdown carry from Kyle Stratton. Stratton finished the night with 145 passing yards, 127 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Nate Bolley, who also the kick back for a score, finished with a game-high 163 rushing yards.

Paschal Jolman finished with 142 rushing yards and the kick return score.

Next week, Whitehall will play at South Christian in a highly-anticipated battle for a Regional Championship.
