The Twin City Sharks concluded their 2022 campaign with a victory over Bloomingdale, 56-6.

In the first quarter, the Sharks bit twice. First, Ty Johnson stepped in front of a Bloomingdale pass, racing 71 yards for an interception return touchdown. On the next drive, Ty Johnson aired it out for the score.

After a Bloomingdale touchdown early in the second quarter, the Sharks responded back. Javrius Gordon found the end zone on a 4-yard carry. Next, Johnson and Jonah Eggert paired up on a 94-yard touchdown pass. The half would end with Johnson and Colin Watts tossing for a 34-yard score. Twin City took a 34-6 lead to the locker room.

In the second half, it was all Twin City. They scored 22 unanswered points, with Christian Smith wrapping up the night with a 20-yard touchdown run.

Twin City finishes the year with a 2-7 record. This was a remarkable turnaround after the 0-9 season last spring. Bloomingdale finishes the season at 0-9, being outscored 440-38 in eight games on the field.
