Muskegon Catholic Central dominates Tri-County, 41-28, to pick up their 7th win. Both defenses started off strong, until 3:30 left in the 1st quarter when the David Hill rushed from 16-yards out for the Crusaders touchdown. Hunter Schrink’s PAT was good. That was the only score of the 1st quarter, MCC 7, Tri-County 0.

The Crusaders scored 30 seconds into the 2nd quarter with another Bell run, this one from 31-yards out. Schrink kick is good. MCC would add 6 more to the board with a Bryan Convertini 4-yard run. The PAT from Schrink was good. The final score of the half was another one for MCC, David Hill would get a hat trick in the half with an 8-yard run. At the half, Crusaders 27, Vikings 0.

The Vikings would finally get on the board with an Owen Behrenwald 18-yard pass to Chase Dewey. Tri-County would add another score with another Behrenwald pass to Stuart Gould, this one for 97-yards. The 2-point try is good. That would complete the scoring in the 3rd quarter with MCC still leading 27-14.

David Hill would pick up his 4th touchdown of the game, 2-minutes into the 4th quarter with a 4-yard rush. Schrink’s PAT was good. Tri-County would respond by driving the ball the length of the field and having Behrenwald find David Sheehan for an 11-yard touchdown. MCC would hold the ball as long as possible and with 3-minutes remaining Convertini would break a 34-yard rush. The PAT by Schrink was good. The Vikings would put one last score up with a minute twenty left, on the 7-yard pass from Behrenwald to Blake Nelson. The 2-point try was good. The final MCC 41, Tri-County 28. Both squads finish the season with 7-2 records and will await to hear who they play in week ten.
