Tri-County wins in blowout fashion over Chippewa Hills to win share of their first conference championship in 18 years, 52-14. The Vikings wasted no time to get on the board. The hottest connection for Tri-County in recent weeks connected for a 73-yard pass and catch score, when David Sheehan found Stuart Gould, for the only score of the 1st quarter. Tri-County 6, Chippewa Hills 0.

The 2nd quarter started with another Sheehan to Gould touchdown, this time from 6-yards out. Ian Boden scores on the 2-point conversion. Chippewa Hills would get on the board when Austin Humphrey would break a 37-yard run to give the Warriors 6 points. The Vikings answered the call and when back to the Sheehan-Gould connection from the 17-yard line. Gould would also score the 2-point conversion. The next possession, the Warriors would set back to punt to Gould. Stuart Gould would break a 55-yard punt return and bring it to the house with 2-minutes left in the half. Boden would score on the 2-point try. At the half, Tri-County leads 30-6.

Chippewa Hills came out of the break firing. Gage Saathoff would drop back from the 6-yard line and find Tyler Geer for 6. The Warriors would go back to that connection for the 2-point score. Tri-County would wait until 4-minutes left in the 3rd to put more on the board. This time it comes from Trent Behrenwald from 6-yards out. Blake Nelson scores the 2-point. The 3rd quarter would end with the Vikings leading, 38-14.

The 4th quarter was all Tri-County. 2-minutes into the quarter, Sheehan would find Stuart Gould for his 5th touchdown of the game. 5-minutes left in the game, Tanner Smith would enter as running back and find paint from 2-yards out. Smith would also convert the 2-point attempt. That would end the scoring. Tri-County beats Chippewa Hills, 52-14.

Tri-County improves 7-1. The Vikings host Manistee in week nine. Chippewa Hills drops to 3-5. The Warriors travel to Pine River next week.
