The Bridgman Bees’ offense exploded on Friday night. The undefeated lot had little trouble with Lawrence, who appears to be playing its best football as of late. It was all Bridgman in this game, a 77-8 victory over the Tigers.

Lawrence scored their lone touchdown in the first quarter. Aside from that 8-point play, the entirety of the game favored Bridgman. Reid Haskins had three remarkable runs in the opening frame. His touchdown carries of 68, 68 and 70 yards allowed gave Bridgman a 21-8 lead after the first quarter.

In the second quarter four different Bees added to the scoring tally. First, it was  Alec MacMartin on a short pass from Haskins. Clark Smith ripped off a 59-yard touchdown sprint to move the lead to 27. Reid Haskins returned to the end zone a fourth time, a 27-yard keeper. Finally, Christian Dinges scored on a 3-yard play that gave Bridgman a commanding 49-8 halftime lead.

Despite a running clock in the second half, Bridgman still managed to score four additional touchdowns. Three times it was Reid Haskins, as he bolted for runs 45, 85 and 92 yards. MacMartin concluded the scoring with a 13-yard run.

Reid Haskins was an efficient passer, finishing 4/5 for 83 yards a touchdown. On top of that, he rushed 13 times for 451 yards and 7 scores.

Bridgman has now won 23 straight games. They will look for win #24 in a row next week against the Twin City Sharks. So far this year, Bridgman has outscored opponents 431-98. Lawrence will look to battle back against a tough New Buffalo team.
