The Bridgman Bees winning ways continued on Friday, as they steamrolled Wyoming Lee 56-0. The Legends never stood a chance against all-state phenom Reid Haskins.
Reid Haskins completed 6/7 passes, racking up 142 yards and three scores. On the ground, Haskins turned 10 carries into 223 yards and four touchdowns.
It was 28-0 Bridgman after the first quarter. Reid Haskins had a pair of runs (14 and 65 yards), while Clark Smith (5 yards) and Nolan Roberts (8 yard pass from Haskins) joined the party.
The second quarter saw more of the same. Haskins reeled off a 65-yard touchdown run. This was sandwiched between two passing scores from Reid Haskins. The first score was to Mathieu Price, while the other was to Wade Haskins. As the clock ran throughout the second half, only Reid Haskins in the third quarter was able to reach the goal line.
Next week, Bridgman will take their 22-game win streak into battle with Lawrence. Wyoming Lee has now started the 2022 campaign with six defeats. They will look to capture their first win against Eau Claire next week.
