Flying G’s Soar in Season Opening Victory

Gladwin’s high-powered offense was just too much for Chippewa Hills as the Flying G’s took down the Warriors, 62-0.

Nick Wheeler for the Flying G’s passed for 96 yards and a touchdown. Running back Jhace Massey rushed for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns. Gladwin had six rushers eclipse the 30-yard mark, five of them reaching the endzone. Massey, Earl Esiline, and Wheeler reaching the endzone multiple times.

Gladwin scored 28 points in the 1st quarter, 20 in the 2nd, and 14 in the 3rd. The Warrior’s defense was unable to slow the Flying G’s phenomenal offense down at any point during the game. Gladwin travels to Harrison next week to open league play. Chippewa Hills opens CSAA Gold play at Grant on September 1st.
