The Forest Hills Central Rangers hosted Jenison in the opening game of the 2022 season. It was the Rangers early and often in this game, racing out to a 22-0 lead. Jenison would battle back in the second half, but the Rangers secured a 29-14 victory.

Justin Osterhouse takes over the reigns fulltime at quarterback for FHC this fall. He was 6/10 passing for 122 yards and two touchdowns. He found Sam Schneider and Ty Hudkins for scores. Hudkins was the leading receiver for the Rangers with 72 yards on two catches. He also added 53 rushing yards and a score on the ground on just five carries.

Sam Schneider had just one catch, the thirteen-yard scoring toss from Osterhouse. Mason McDonald added an 11-yard touchdown run to round out the FHC scoring tally.

On defense, Crandall Quinn and Raymond Cargill each paced Forest Hills Central with 9 tackles. Ty Hudkins added 7 tackles.

This is the sixth straight season opening victory for Forest Hills Central. They will look to move to 2-0 next week when they face Portage Central. Jenison will look to pick up their first victory in Week 2 against Forest Hills Northern.
