Potter’s House hit fifteen three-pointers as a team, sparking their explosive offense. Quincy Winkle led the way for the Pumas with 19 points, while Zach Reinsma added 16. Jacob May (14), Bradley Richards (12) and Ethan Cammenga (10) paced Fruitport Calvary.

Muskegon Heights 51 Muskegon Catholic Central 44: The Tigers defeated the Crusaders in Lakes 8 action, holding on late. MCC was within a possession with less than thirty seconds to go, but they were unable to even the score. Chase Willer led MCC with 12 points off the bench.

Coopersville 43 Spring Lake 39

Holland Christian 64 Fruitport 33: The Maroons secured a league victory over the Trojans on Tuesday. Jalen Overway paced HC with 14 points, while Adam Kroeze added 13.

Unity Christian 70 West Catholic 61: The ‘Saders were pushed throughout the evening by the Falcons. In the end, Unity will remain undefeated while capturing the OK Blue title. Mitch Tibbe (16) and Gabe Newhof (15) paced UC in scoring. WC was led by Caleb Tuttle (19) and Kobe Kambestad (13).

Grand Rapids Catholic Central 91 Wayland 38: The Cougars move to 16-1 as they race past Wayland. Jorden Brooks set the new school record for three-pointers in a career, as he finishes with 17 points. Jack Karasinski (17), Durral Brooks (16) and Kaden Brown (11) were also in double figures for GRCC. Brett Bultsema (18) led the Wildcats.

Reeths Puffer 47 Mona Shores 42: The Rockets defeated the Sailors in OK Green action. Puffer led by a point after the first quarter, but Mona Shores tied it at 22 at the break. Victories in each of the final quarters gave the victory to Reeths Puffer. Travis Ambrose (16 points, 9 rebounds) and Jaxson Whitaker (15 points, 4 assists) led RP offensively. Keontae Richards (14 points), Parker Swartz (11) and Donovan Russell (10) were in double figures for Mona Shores.

Union 53 Zeeland East 25

Wyoming 63 Zeeland West 56: The Wolves and Dux needed a fifth period to decide the winner in this OK Green battle. In the extra frame, Wyoming was able to pull out a seven-point victory, outscoring the Dux 12-5. Ramere Draper (24), Jordan Love (17) and Quadir Hatchett (8 points, 8 steals, 7 rebounds) led Wyoming. Luke Baker (16 points, 12 rebounds), Merritt Alderink (14) and Kylan Arnold (11) led Zeeland West.

East Kentwood 65 Jenison 51: The Falcons soared past Jenison in an OK Red battle on Tuesday night. Kentwood used pressure defense and transition offense to take a 22-11 first quarter lead. This pressure continued throughout, and the Falcons maintained their lead in the final three quarters. Marshaun Flakes finished with 30 points for EK, scoring 21 in the first half. Andrace Morris added 15 for the Falcons. Jenison had eight players score in this game, led by Caleb Dean and Carter VanManen, who each had 11.

Grandville 43 West Ottawa 42

Grand Haven 54 Rockford 51: The Bucs evened the OK Red standings with a victory over Rockford. Harrison Sorrelle (28) and Bashir Neely (15) led Grand Haven offensively. The Rams were paced by Caden Pokorzynski (13), Andrew Landis (11) and Jack Lamacusa (10). Rockford had a pair of chances at the end, but a charge call and a missed triple proved to be fatal to the Rams. These two are now tied for the OK Red lead.

Calvin Christian 65 Comstock Park 51: The Squires trailed 13-11 after the first quarter, but used a 24-point third quarter to springboard to a league victory. Brady Haisma and Matt Elderkin each scored 22 points to lead Calvin Christian. Donovan Cummings and Ramsey Brower led Comstock Park with 16 points each.

East Grand Rapids 53 Greenville 35: The Pioneers were shorthanded on Tuesday, but that did not stop them from defeating Greenville. Drew Caswell stepped into the lead role offensively, scoring a team-high 20 points. Jonah Bishop emerged as a key weapon with a 12-point game. EGR is now 7-8 on the year and 6-4 in the White.

Northview 74 Forest Hills Central 64: The Wildcats took down the Rangers to improve to 15-1. Northview was led by 33 points from Kyler Vanderjagt.

 

WEST MICHIGAN CONFERENCE

Montague 48 North Muskegon 40: The Norsemen led 16-9 after the first quarter, but that lead was quickly erased by a 13-6 and 11-5 quarter advantages by Montague. In the final frame, Montague won by a basket, ensuring their victory. Tate Stine (16) and Isaiah Archison (13) led the ‘Gue in scoring, while Troy McManus (14) and Jason Bogue (6 points, 11 rebounds) paced North Muskegon.

Oakridge 65 Ravenna 41: The Eagles used a 20-7 first quarter advantage to power past the Bulldogs in WMC play. Garret Wever led Oakridge with 25 points and 8 rebounds, while Ethan Jozsa added 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Shelby 54 Mason County Central 44

Whitehall 65 Hart 35: The Vikings raided the Pirates, holding Hart to 25% shooting in this league rout. Whitehall on the other hand, shot at a 52% clip and won the rebounding edge 30-21. Camden Thompson (18 points, 11 rebounds) and Kal Koehler (10 points, 6 rebounds) led the victors. Wyatt Dean led Hart with 17 points, while Kohen Porter added 9.

 

OTHER AREA GAMES

Alma 51 Frankenmuth 40: The Panthers hosted the Eagles in a TVC battle on Tuesday night. Conner Lemerand and Sam Leppien each scored 14 points to power Alma to victory, as they jumped out to a 16-5 first quarter lead. The ‘Muth was led by Nate Jackson and Trent Ciesla, who each scored 10.

Coldwater 58 Parma Western 52

Grand Rapids Sacred Heart 68 West Michigan Lutheran 39: The Falcons defeated the Mustangs in the opening round of the Great Lakes 6 Conference Tournament. Every Sacred Heart player found the scoring column in this win, with Jack Blouw (16), Isaac Skinner (8), Noah Northon (8) and Sam Blouw (8) leading the way. WML was led by Trenton Rembert, who had a strong showing with 25 points.

Mattawan 54 Sturgis 48: The Wildcats won their third straight game, taking down the Trojans. Ryan Van Liere led Mattawan with 16 points, while Noah Vanlaningham (14) and Ryan Kiesling (12) were also in double figures.

Schoolcraft 51 Fennville 36: The Eagles used a strong second half to pull away from the Blackhawks. Shane Rykse (15) and Tyler DeGroote (13) led Schoolcraft, while Dylan and Tyler Schut each scored 10 for Fennville.

Watervliet 42 Lawton 29: The Blue Devils were dealt their first home loss of the season on Senior Night. Jake Rueff led Lawton with 12, while Chase Mitchell added 10.
