The Freeland Falcons took on Bay City John Glenn on Friday, and they had little trouble in their 46-14 victory.

Offensively, Freeland started off with a bang. They scored on their first six possessions. Bryson Huckeby passed for the first score, connecting with Jacob Kundinger on a 6-yard toss. The Falcons would push their lead to fourteen points when Garrett Pistro rushed for a 3-yard touchdown.

In the second quarter, Freeland scored on all three drives. Nate Levison broke off a 53-yard touchdown sprint early in the frame. On their next drive, Bryson Huckeby kept the football and ripped off a 38-yard quarterback keeper. Finally, Huckeby would extend the lead to 32 points with his 30-yard run.

After halftime, the Falcons got their sixth straight touchdown. Jacon Kundinger used his legs to power across the goal line from a yard out, capping off a 7-play, 73-yard touchdown march.

In the fourth quarter, John Glenn got on the scoreboard. Wyatt Weyrowski, the Bobcats quarterback, used his legs for a pair of touchdowns. After his second score, Ty Fournier responded with a 77-yard kickoff return for a score. Freeland’s second half offense was limited with reserves in action over most of the half.

Freeland improves to 5-1 with this victory. The Falcons will square off with Swan Valley next week. John Glenn slides to 3-3 after the loss. The Bobcats will take on Essexville Garber on Friday.
