The Muskegon Big Reds took on the Wyoming Wolves in their latest OK Green contest. It was cruise control for Muskegon, as the 62-0 victory was their third in a row, moving the team to a perfect 3-0 in league play.

Just three minutes into the game, Muskegon got on the scoreboard. Meshaune Crowley continued his stellar play from a week ago, scoring the game’s first touchdown on a short run. On their next drive, Myles Walton and Mari Foster connected on a 65-yard touchdown pass. The Big Reds’ offensive onslaught continued, as Destin Piggee bolted through the Wolves’ defense for an 82-yard touchdown sprint.

In the second quarter, the scoring continued. Myles Walton tossed it toward Jeremiah Dault, who made a remarkable one-handed catch. Later in the quarter, Walton used his legs for a touchdown run. After a defensive stop, Destin Piggee fielded a punt and weaved through the oncoming coverage team. The final scoring play of the half came on another pass, with M’Khi Guy and Ernest Young pairing up for a touchdown. This gave the Big Reds a 48-0 lead.

The second half saw the running clock in effect, and as a result, the scoring was limited. Muskegon scored twice, once in each quarter. Jeremiah Dault caught a pass from Guy for the first score, Dault’s second touchdown of the night.

Muskegon now sits at 4-1 on the year. They will continue OK Green play next week, as they face Holland. Wyoming, 0-5, will look for their first victory against Zeeland West.
