Big Rapids Crossroads Academy 55 Hesperia 50: The Cougars edged the Panthers on Tuesday night. Crossroads led by 12 at halftime before Hesperia rallied in the second half. This game was decided at the free throw line. Hesperia was called for 17 fouls and shot just 2/7 from the line, while Crossroads was called for 6 fouls and made 14/26 free throws. Robert Miller of Crossroads led all scorers with 18. Riley Taylor had 16 to lead Hesperia.

Caledonia 53 Grand Haven 42: The Fighting Scots raced out to a 25-6 lead after the first quarter, and held off a Grand Haven rally to secure the victory. Brooks Day led Caledonia with 15 points, while Andrew Larson added 12. Harrison Sorrelle led Grand Haven with 18, and Nic Stump added 13 points.

Cedar Springs 56 Ottawa Hills 50: In a tight matchup, Ottawa Hills fell short to the Cedar Springs Red Hawks by 6 points. Junior Aiden Brunin was on fire tonight as hetook the spot of the highest scorer of the game with 24 points, which allowed for the Red Hawks to take the victory. Junior Tyrell Cross was the leading scorer for Ottawa Hills with 12 points followed by Terry Cross

Forest Hills Central 55 Northview 48: The Rangers secured a victory in the OK White, topping Northview. Jonah Spates led FHC with 13, while Dallas Hopson and Jacob Bonnett each had 11 points. The Rangers have now won four straight contests to move their record to 6-3.

Frankenmuth 49 Swan Valley 42: The Eagles secured a victory in TVC play against the Vikings. Team defense and clutch scoring powered Frankenmuth to this win. Ryan Brenner had 13 points and 6 rebounds, while Ben Reinert had 12 points and 6 rebounds. Max Dawson led Swan Valley with 25 points.

Godwin Heights 64 Kelloggsville 60: The Wolverines had their hands full with Kelloggsville, but Jakhary Towns scored 30 points to push Godwin to victory. Godwin is now 7-0 in OK Silver play and 8-0 overall, holding a three-game lead in the loss column above the rest of the league.

Grand Rapids Catholic Central 68 Forest Hills Eastern 58: The Cougars remain undefeated with a win over the Hawks. Jack Karasinski led the way with 18 points while KK Brown and Phat Phat Brooks each scored 14. Daane Harvey and Owen Hardy led FHE with 16 points.

Grandville 58 East Kentwood 49: The Bulldogs captured an OK Red victory over the Falcons thanks to 26 points from Tommy Gregwer.

Holton 65 Lakeview 34: The Red Devils move to 9-1 overall and 6-0 in the CSAA-Silver with a victory against winless Lakeview. Holton built a 21-6 first quarter lead and never looked back. Brodrick Fialek led Holton with 15 points and 5 rebounds, Wyatt Monette added 13 and Aidan Poling posted 11 points, 6 steals and 3 assists.

Morley Stanwood 64 White Cloud 44: The Mohawks took down the Indians in a CSAA-Silver battle. It was a close game in the first half, as Morley led by nine, but a strong third quarter powered them to victory. Sam Venema led White Cloud with 19 points.

North Muskegon 57 Mason County Central 48: The Norsemen captured a WMC victory, getting the best of the Spartans. North Muskegon led by as many as 13 in the fourth quarter before MCC cut it to four. The Norsemen iced it at the free throw line. Brennen McManus hit five threes on his way to 21 points for North Muskegon, while Troy McManus added 12. Denny Belmonte made his presence felt with 7 assists. MCC was led by Will Chye (18) and Jayden Perrone (13).

Oakridge 60 Hart 41: The Eagles bested the Pirates in WMC action. Oakridge built an eleven-point lead in the first quarter and carried that throughout the game. Parker Hovey led Hart with 12.

Orchard View 76 Muskegon Catholic Central 58: The Cardinals secured another victory in Lakes 8 action, taking down the Crusaders by 18 points (despite being outscored 21-12 in the fourth quarter). Ke’ontae Barnes (25 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists) and Jay Jay Tunstull (20 points) led the Cardinals. Darius Williams was on quadruple-double alert as he finished with 10 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds and 7 steals.

Potter’s House 56 Zion Christian 22

Ravenna 64 Montague 62: The Bulldogs and Wildcats went to overtime in WMC play on Tuesday night. In the extra frame, Kyle Beebe hit a buzzer-beater from 40 feet to lift Ravenna to victory. He had 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Grant Becklin added 13 points for Oakridge. Isaiah Archison led Montague with 16 points and Drew Collins recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Rockford 63 Jenison 35: The Rams took on the Wildcats and pulled away victorious for a final
score of 63-35. Two seniors led the Rockford team to victory both scoring in the double digits, Calvin. Kibbe (19) and Brenden Schueller (18). Both players accumulated 10 made threes in the game to win by 28 points. Rockford is now 7-1 in the conference. (Recap by Chelsee Martino)

Whitehall 52 Shelby 47: Despite a 4/16 day from the free-throw line, Whitehall topped Shelby in WMC action. The Vikings outscored Shelby 12-2 in the final frame as Evan Mikkelson and Red Watson played stout defense. Dayton Cole led Whitehall with 14, while Addison Bluhm scored 13.

Zeeland East 50 Holland 36: The Chix captured a win over the Dutch thanks to a triple-double from Nate Claerbaut. He had 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks in the victory.

Byron Center 59 East Grand Rapids 56: The Bulldogs stunned East Grand Rapids, handing the Pioneers their first loss in 2021.

East Kentwood 71 Grandville 35: The Falcons move to 7-1 on the year with a blowout of the Bulldogs. Alexis McCully (20) and Keliese Christopher (16) paced East Kentwood in scoring.

Gobles 61 Fennville 11: A 20-0 second quarter was vital in Gobles’ victory over the Blackhawks. Trailing 51-5 heading to the fourth quarter, Fennville scored a game-high six points in the final frame. Freshman Madisynn Jefferson led Fennville with 5 points.

Mason County Eastern 44 Walkerville 41: The Cardinals took down Walkerville in a West Michigan “D” League game on Tuesday. Corinna Hernandez led MCE with 20 points and Anna Tyndall added 13. Mickey Berumen scored 19 points to lead Walkerville.

Middleville 49 South Christian 43: The Sailors led at halftime, but a 16-11 advantage by the Trojans in the third quarter propelled them to victory. Paige VanStee scored 16 points in the second half, finishing with 21 points total. Sydney Vis led South Christian with 18 points.

Mona Shores 56 Union 45: The Sailors won the first three quarters to capture a victory over Union. Riley Rosenthal (15), Olivia Sobczak (14) and Brooke Leroux (14) led Mona Shores, and Z’yna McSpadden led Union (13).

Morley Stanwood 50 White Cloud 33: The Mohawks secured another victory, taking down the Indians. Brooke Brauher scored 17 points and recorded 10 rebounds, Madison Garbow added 15 points, and Brae Berry had 12 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists.

Muskegon Catholic Central 66 Orchard View 27: The Crusaders captured a Lakes 8 victory against the Cardinals to even their overall record at 4-4. Claire LaVigne led MCC with 21 points, McKenna Gentry added 13, Katherine Rauch scored 12 and Cara Burkall had 11 points.

Spring Lake 47 Holland Christian 29: Defense propelled Spring Lake to their victory on Tuesday night. The Lakers forced 12 steals and held the Maroons to 21% shooting. Spring Lake was 17/23 from the charity stripe, as Meah Bajt led the way with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals.

West Catholic 50 Allendale 37: The Falcons snapped the Falcons’ eight-game winning streak with this victory, creating separation in the OK Blue standings. Maya Mileski scored 22 for West Catholic, while Grace Rosser led Allendale with 16 points.

Wyoming 66 Reeths Puffer 53: The Wolves edged the Rockets on Tuesday night. Wyoming won three of four quarters on their way to a victory. Sophia Hekkema scored 17 points and added 11 rebounds for Puffer, while Ariel Walker added 12. Taejah Cross (17), Noami Goodson (15), Michelle McGee (14) and Aaliyah Ratliff (13) finished in double figures for Wyoming.
