South Christian’s defense held Wayland to just one field goal in the first and third quarters. Elliott Grashuis led South Christian with 11 points, while Caden Oetman added 10 points off the bench.
Unity Christian 83 Coopersville 78: The ‘Saders took down the Broncos, needing all 40 points from Zac Velthouse to deliver the road victory. Gabe Newhof added 24 for Unity. Coopersville once trailed by 20 points, before they came within three points. With seven seconds left, they had the ball down by three, but were unable to draw even. Blake Stewart scored 31 for Coopersville.
