After a few weeks of uncertainty, we have received tremendous news. High School Football is Back!

On Thursday afternoon, Governor Whitmer and the MHSAA each gave some the latest update that will lead to a resumption of all fall sports, including football.

Major takeaways from the MHSAA Release are as follows:

  • Practice for Football begins September 8
  • Regular Season Games Start September 17-19
  • Schools will play the final six scheduled games of their schedule, starting with their Week 4 opponent
  • All schools will make the playoffs, starting October 30-31, with a format decided at a later date.
