Newaygo 62 Fremont 19: The Lions breezed past the Packers in CSAA Gold action on Friday. Newaygo pounced out to a 19-3 first quarter lead, and they extend that mark to 43-10 at the break. Jaxi Long led Newaygo with 22 points, 6 steals and 5 assists, while Emmerson Goodin added 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Haley Zerlaut paced Fremont with 8. The Lions are now 10-0 in the Gold and 15-1 overall.
Reed City 50 Central Montcalm 44: The Coyotes had double digit leads twice, but the Hornets continued to battle on Wednesday. In the end, they finished six points short. Maia Sexton (19) and Courtney Guelzo (12) were in double figures for CM.
Tri-County 59 Grant 50: The Vikings defeated the Tigers in CSAA Gold play on Friday. Alli Johnson (11), Emmie McNees (10) and Mary Siple (10) were all in double figures for Tri-County. Julie Ashbaugh (19) and Chloee Chase (12) did the same for Grant.

Kent City 55 Hesperia 11: The Eagles defeated the Panthers in conference action. Seven Kent City players finished in the scoring column, with 12 triples made by the entire team. Lexie Bowers buried 8 of those 12, finishing the game with 31 points and 7 rebounds.
Morley Stanwood 67 White Cloud 32: Madsion Garbow led Morley with 30 points, converting 7 triples in the process. Lila Hoisington added 15.

Muskegon Heights 57 Muskegon Catholic Central 47: The Tigers took down the Crusaders in Lakes 8 play. MCC was ahead 24-22 at halftime, and 36-35 heading into the final frame. The Heights then rallied with a strong fourth quarter finish. Sara Albanese (13) and Katherine Rauch (11) were in double figures for MCC in defeat.

Allendale 53 Spring Lake 50: The Falcons and Lakers played an overtime thriller on Wednesday evening. Ella Andree buried a triple at the buzzer in regulation to force the extra period. In overtime, Allendale outscored Spring Lake by three points. Nicole Schmitt led Spring Lake with 12, while Ella Andree had 11 points and 7 rebounds. Alexa Carter finished with 9 points and 11 rebounds. Hannah Schroeder led Allendale with 19 points.
Holland Christian 55 Spring Lake 25: The Maroons took down the Lakers, knocking Spring Lake out of rhythm offensively on Friday. Holland Christian hit ten triples in this game, providing an offensive spark all the way through the evening. Meah Bajt led Spring Lake with 6 points.
Unity Christian 56 Hamilton 50: The ‘Saders needed overtime, but they took down the Hawks on Friday. Makara Obande’s offensive rebound and basket proved to be the game winner with about a minute to go. Obande would finish with 17 points, while Haley Bremer led UC with 24. Kyra Kleinheksel (17) and Taylor VanderZwaag (10) had strong days for Hamilton.
West Catholic 71 Allendale 19: The West Catholic bunch captured the “Battle of the Falcons” on Friday. It was 19-3 after the first quarter, and it was full speed ahead to the victory for West Catholic. All ten WC players who saw the floor scored. Abbey Kimball (20), Anna Ignatoski (9), Alisha Dykstra (8) and Reese Polega (8) led the West Catholic crew in scoring.

South Christian 51 Wayland 38: The Sailors remained in first place with a home win over Wayland. Sydney Vis scored 22 points for South Christian to lead the way.

Mona Shores 54 Zeeland East 33: The Sailors defeated the Chix in league play, sending East to an 0-16 mark on the year. Mona Shores led by just seven after the first quarter, but a 20-5 second quarter advantage allowed them to rapidly expand their lead. Khaleeya Cook (13) and Olivia Sobczak (12) paced Shores offensively, while Maddie Schuur (12) led Zeeland East.

Zeeland West 54 Reeths-Puffer 53: The Dux held off the Rockets’ last second charge to capture this victory. West got out to a 10-1 lead, but a Puffer rally allowed them to take a 28-25 halftime advantage. Throughout the second half, the Dux battled and took a seven-point lead with four minutes to go. With eight seconds to play, Puffer had a look at a tying triple, but they could not convert. Kara Bartels had 18 points to lead the victors, while Ally Yonker added 10.

Forest Hills Northern 57 Forest Hills Central 42: The Huskies handled their crosstown rivals on Friday evening. FHN jumped out to a 16-8 first quarter lead, and built on that throughout. Layne Sietsema (13) and Alli Cornell (10) led the Huskies, finishing in double figures. FHC was led by Theryn Hallock, who finished with 23.
Lowell 63 Northview 31: The Red Arrows cruised to a victory over the Wildcats in OK White action. Lowell was led by Piper Risdon, who had a phenomenal game with 23 points and 22 rebounds. Braxcynn Baker (16) and Lexi Howell (7) added to the tally for Coach Kent’s crew.
WEST MICHIGAN CONFERENCE
Hart 71 North Muskegon 22: The Pirates defeated the Norsemen in WMC action on Friday. Seven of nine Pirates who dressed scored in the opening frame, as Hart built a 28-7 lead. They would follow that up with a 16-2 frame to lead 44-9 at the break. Addi Hovey led Hart with 18 points, 8 steals and 5 rebounds. Aspen Boutell (14 points), Abby Hicks (13 points, 7 steals, 5 assists), and Mariana VanAgtmael (8 points) also had strong showings for Hart.
Montague 48 Shelby 20: The Wildcats raced past the Tigers in WMC action, holding Shelby to seven points or fewer in each quarter. Kendall Osborne led the ‘Gue with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Emma Peterson added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals, while Emma Dyer finished with 6 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Kendall Zoulek led Shelby with 9 points and 6 rebounds.
Oakridge 39 Whitehall 38: The Eagles defeated the Vikings in a close WMC game. Scoring just two points in the third quarter ultimately doomed Whitehall. Charley Klint paced the Vikings with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Jasmine Pastor led Oakridge with 14 points.

Edwardsburg 83 Vicksburg 31: The Eddies scored 31 points in the opening quarter, 25 in the second quarter, and never looked back in a blowout win over Vicksburg. Macey Laubach (17), Ella Castelucci (15), Katie Schaible (13) and Averie Markel (12) were all in double figures for Edwardsburg, who jumps to 16-0 overall.
Frankenmuth 49 Essexville Garber 20: The Eagles defeated the Dukes on Wednesday night in TVC action. Garber scored just two points in the middle two quarters, allowing the ‘Muth to expand the lead rapidly. Emma Kerkau led the victors with 14, while both Zoey Persails (11) and Mia McLaughlin (10) were in double figures.
Gobles 50 Martin 29: The Tigers got an important SAC win over the Clippers on Friday. Emma Baxter led the way with 9 points and 8 rebounds, while Kennadi Killeen added 8 points and 10 rebounds. Madi Brady (6) and Amanda Barber.
