The Mendon Hornets had another strong showing on Friday night, disposing of the Bangor Vikings in a 53-0 rout.
Jack McCaw got Mendon started just three minutes into action with a 21-yard touchdown run. Evan Lukeman added to that tally with his own 21-yard scurry. Luke Schinker and Gabe Haigh linked up on the third score, before Lukeman returned to the end zone to create a 28-0 lead.
Over the next three quarters, the Hornets kept stinging. Jack McCaw added two more touchdowns to his tally, a 22 and 46 yard carry. Owen Gorham used his legs for a 1-yard bowl into the end zone. Jorge Casanova rounded out the scoring with his 23-yard field goal.
Mendon outgained Bangor 463-105 in this victory. Jack McCaw (123 yards) and Evan Lukeman (113) led this team in rushing, unsurprising thus far.
