Manistee handled Shelby 54-7 this week. Isaiah Davis led the way on the ground for Manistee, as he eclipsed 100 yards with a 133-yard and two-touchdown game. Kanon Petzak also added two touchdowns along with 91 yards on the ground. Kaden Kott added two more touchdowns on the ground along with 81 yards on his night. Nick Hornkohl also had a rushing touchdown, but he also added a pick-six on the night, as his stat line covered both sides of the ball with an offensive and defensive touchdown to his name.
Shelby wouldn’t score any points until the fourth quarter, as they answered Manistee 48-0 lead with a score of their own, a pass from Travis Boughan to Bishop Lee. It was found out to be too late as Manistee would leave this game with a demanding victory.
