DIVISION 1 REGION 3 at Byron Center

Rockford 66 Mona Shores 29: The Rams rolled out a 16-9 first quarter lead, and added on a 16-5 second quarter advantage. In the third frame, Rockford outscored Mona Shores 15-2, allowing them to run away with this one. Grace Lyons (19), Alyssa Wypych (12), Alina Anderson (10) and Elle Irwin (10) led Rockford with double-figure scoring efforts. Khaleeya Cook (12), Ali Phillips (7) and Lily Miller (4) paced Shores.

Hudsonville 62 Byron Center 55: The Eagles took down the host Bulldogs in the other regional semifinal. Jaci Tubergen (19) and Maddie Petroelje (12) led Hudsonville offensively. McKenna Ferguson (19) topped the scoring chart for Byron Center.

FINALS: Rockford (21-2) vs Hudsonville (21-2)

 

DIVISION 1 REGION 4 at Mattawan

Battle Creek Lakeview 42 Mattawan 41: The Wildcats battled with the Spartans, but the hosts ultimately fell a point shy of pulling off the upset.

East Lansing 54 Parma Western 46

FINALS: Battle Creek Lakeview (21-1) vs East Lansing (18-4)

 

DIVISION 2 REGION 9 at Gaylord

Ludington 54 Standish-Sterling 36: The Orioles defeated the Panthers in the regional semifinals. It was 23-22 Ludington at halftime, but the Orioles pulled away after the break. It was 20-6 in the third quarter, which allowed Ludington to create an insurmountable advantage. RyAnn Rohrer (15), Abi Bandstra (12) and Keelyn Laird (11) finished in double figures for Ludington. Macey Fegan led Standish with 26 points.

Negaunee 42 Sault Ste Marie 29

FINALS: Ludington (18-5) vs Negaunee (18-5)

 

DIVISION 2 REGION 10 at Frankenmuth

Swan Valley 48 Belding 38: The Black Knights suffered a defeat against the Vikings in the regional semis. Belding was within four, 35-31, after the third quarter, but Swan Valley pulled away in the end. Brook Simpson led Belding with 12 points.

DIVISION 2 REGION 11 at Orchard View

Newaygo 44 Spring Lake 42: The Lions held off the Lakers with clutch free throw shooting, advancing to the regional finals for the second straight year. They needed all of Jaxi Long’s 17 points, especially her 8/8 free throw performance. Grace Painter (12 points, 6 rebounds) and Emmerson Goodin (7 points, 7 rebounds) added to the victory with strong showings. Spring Lake was led by Jennifer Judge with 13 points and 7 rebounds, while Nicole Schmitt (10 points), Alexa Carter (8 points, 10 rebounds) and Meah Bajt (8 points, 5 rebounds) chipped in as well.

West Catholic 55 Grand Rapids Christian 43: The Falcons got out to an eleven point halftime lead, maintained that advantage at the end of the third, and added a single point to the margin of victory in the final frame. West Catholic was led by Abbey Kimball, who scored 28 points. Cadence Dykstra (8) and Elisha Dykstra (7) were also key contributors for West.

FINALS: Newaygo (22-1) vs West Catholic (22-1)

 

DIVISION 2 REGION 12 at Vicksburg

Wayland 42 Dowagiac 31

Edwardsburg 68 Otsego 41: The Eddies improve to 23-0, punching their ticket to the Regional Finals. Macey Laubach finished with 23 points and 7 steals, while Ella Castelucci (14 points, 8 steals) and Caitlin Tighe (14 points, 4 steals) were also in double figures.

FINALS: Wayland (15-8) vs Edwardsburg (23-0)

 

DIVISION 2 REGION 13 at Tecumseh

Portland 58 Marshall 34: Ashley Bower paced the Raiders with 20 points, as they return to the regional finals. Ava Guilford and Breckyn Werner each finished with 8 points, while Malia Thelen added 7.

Chelsea 48 Williamston 46

FINALS: Portland (22-1) vs Chelsea (20-3)

 

DIVISION 3 REGION 19 at Northpointe Christian

Kent City 51 Western Michigan Christian 31: The Eagles are back in the regional finals after taking down WMC. Lexie Bowers (20) and Madelyn Geers (18) finished in double figures for Kent City. Taryn Preston (9 points) and Savannah Miller (6 rebounds) added strong performances.

Covenant Christian 37 Pewamo-Westphalia 34: The Chargers and Pirates battled at NPC on Monday night for a spot in the regional finals. In the end, Chloe Kaptein scored 17 points to power Covenant to the title bout.

FINALS: Kent City (23-0) vs Covenant Christian (13-8)

 

DIVISION 4 REGION 29 at Martin

Muskegon Heights 43 Martin 40: The Tigers defeated the Clippers with a roaring comeback. Martin led 29-14 at halftime, as Gracie Shettler hit five first half triples. Muskegon Heights made an adjustment at the break, employing the triangle-and-two defense, which stifled the Clippers offense. Three Tigers finished in double figures, while Gracie Shettler paced Martin with 22 points.

Gobles 36 St Joseph Michigan Lutheran 21: The Tigers clawed their way to the regional title game, defeating SJML. Emma Baxter paced the victors with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Amanda Barber and McKenzie Lisowski each scored 7 points, while Kennadi Killeen secured 8 rebounds.

FINALS: Muskegon Heights (8-8) vs Gobles (15-8)
