The Frankenmuth Eagles are one of the best teams in the state of Michigan, and they proved that again this Friday. Against Bay City John Glenn, they cruised to 54-0 victory, their tenth consecutive win in the regular season.

On the opening drive of the game, they put together a 14-play touchdown drive. Cole Lindow powered across the goal line with a 2-yard plunge. Their lead doubled on the next drive, when Aiden Hoard bowled through the front line and into the end zone from a yard out.

Floyd Atwood got the scoring started with a defensive touchdown. He stepped in front of the ball and returned it 45 yards for the end zone. On their first offensive possession of the frame, Lindow rushed for another score. The final touchdown of the first half for Frankenmuth came on a 43-yard punt return by Sam Barger. This gave the Eagles a 34-0 advantage.

The Eagles would score three times in the second half to move the score to their final tally. Aiden Hoard and Sam Barger paired up for a 5-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, with the running clock in effect, they rushed for two scores. Jonah Sholten broke off a 22-yard run, and Carson Knoll chipped in a 23-yard rushing score.

Bay City John Glenn was held to minus 7 yards rushing and 92 yards of offense. Frankenmuth, meanwhile, rushed for 282 yards and their team had 301 yards of offense. Cole Lindow recorded his fourth straight 100+ rushing game with an 111 yard performance.

Next week, Frankenmuth and Freeland will battle for the lead in the TVC-Central. Both teams are 4-0 and in a share of first place. Bay City John Glenn (2-2) will look to snap a two-game skid against Bridgeport.
