The Ravenna Bulldogs hit the road in the district semifinals to take on the top-seed Ithaca Yellowjackets. A stout defensive performance by the Yellowjackets carried them to a 41-0 victory.

In the first quarter, Ithaca struck for a pair of touchdowns. Brady Hessbrook started the scoring by tossing a fifty-five yard touchdown pass to Zach Poff. In the last minute of the quarter, he found Chad Pratt on an eighteen-yard touchdown toss to make it 14-0.

Hessbrook used his legs to score the touchdown in the second quarter, as he plunged across the goal line from two yards out. This gave Ithaca a 21-0 halftime edge.

The second half saw more of Ithaca on offense. Just over a minute into the third quarter, Brady Hessbrook scored for the fourth time in the contest. Derek Draher would give Ithaca a 35-0 lead when he rushed for an eleven yard score.

For the remainder of the game, the running clock was in effect for Ithaca. The ‘Jackets were able to muster up one more touchdown, a pass from Hessbrook to Evan Houck for twenty-six yards.

The Ithaca defense limited Ravenna to just 185 yards of total offense. Kyle Beebe threw for 88, while Steven Cook led the rushing attack with 67 yards.

For his tremendous play all season, Kyle Beebe will be the final Redi Rental Ravenna Bulldog of the Game for the 2020 season.
