The boys playoffs tip off tonight! And the girls now close in on the final week of their season, so let’s take a look at this week’s power poll, as we close the regular and conference season!

BOYS POLL

Boys Poll Notes

Tune in Friday – If there’s one takeaway from this poll, it’s to make sure you tune in to MSR on Friday for coverage of the anticipated clash between Muskegon and Rockford – The final top two teams in the poll in a district championship clash!

Greenville Back In – After Grand Haven fell to East Kentwood last week, the ‘Jackets, still with only one loss on their resume are back in the final regular season top 10.

Tri-Unity On The Move – Coach Keeler’s team moved to a new high mark of 8th in this week’s poll as GRCC fell for a 7th time this year Friday vs FHN despite also picking up a conference crown to drop to the 9 spot, the state’s top team in division four seem set to carry their win streak deep into March!

GIRLS POLL

Girls Poll Notes

Rockford’s Clean Sweep – Just like on the boys side of the poll, Rockford was able to extend their win streak again this past week and stay in the top spot, something they have done on both sides of the poll every single week!

Scots Statement – With a conference championship and head-to-head win over Mona Shores last week, the Scots were able to bounce the Sailors from the rankings for the first time this year and solidify their top spot.

Streaking Huskies – FHN is all the way back up to the four spot this week, as Northern have now ripped off eight straight wins, and only Rockford have more victories this season than the Huskies.
