After a thrilling Tuesday that included buzzer beaters, double overtime and more, we’re back at it as the third Friday of the conference season will present  another big night of doubleheader matchups from across the area.

Let’s take a look at the action you’ll be able to catch on MSR on January 17.

GRANDVILLE vs ROCKFORD – Girls + Boys DH

Vanderslice Gymnasium in Grandville will play host to both the #1 teams in our first edition of the RE/MAX United Power Poll – as the #1 Rams boys and girls travel to Grandville. First on the girls side, the red-hot Lady Rams led by Miss Basketball frontrunner Anna Wypych will look for win number 10 in a row vs a resurgent Grandville team that’s been led by the terrific play from freshman guard Brynnly Mann – Expect to see a variety of mixing defenses and pressure from both teams in this game.

Then, fresh off their buzzer-beater win over Hudsonville on Tuesday, the Rockford boys will look to keep their hot run going against Grandville, who have now dropped four straight games after a three game win streak that proceeded that. Grandville’s sophomore PG Carter Wade has scored 20 or more in each of his last two conference contests, but will have a tough matchup against maybe the state’s deepest backcourt in Rockford – Including freshman standout Eli Wolfe, the buzzer hero from Tuesday night.
