North Muskegon defeated Ravenna 28-7 this week in a highly-anticipated battle in the WMC Rivers.

North Muskegon recorded the first 21 points of this ball game and didn’t look back. James Young would have 138 yards and three touchdowns in the air for North Muskegon. Ben Meyers led the way on the ground for North Muskegon with 77 yards on the night.

TJ Byard had himself a night as well, as he recorded 92 yards and two receiving touchdowns. The North Muskegon defense also recorded two interceptions on the night, courtesy of Newville and Thompson.

North Muskegon is now 6-1 on the season and 4-0 in WMC Rivers play. The Norsemen will take on Holton next week. Ravenna slides to 5-2 on the year and 4-1 in league play. They will look to rebound against Oakridge.
