The Forest Hills Central Rangers and Lowell Red Arrows met in one of the premier games of the week. Forest Hills Central remained undefeated, with a narrow 14-7 win on Friday night.
JT Hartman was the vital piece for the Rangers this week, as he turned 9 carries into 58 yards. More importantly, Hartman was responsible for both rushing touchdowns. Justin Osterhouse was 6/12 passing for 124 yards, and he added 16 carries for 83 yards.
Defensively, Nolan Hartl (9 tackles), Hartman (6 tackles), and Reece Roskam (4 tackles) led the way for FHC.
Forest Hills Central’s defense carried the way in this game. They shut down a strong Lowell offense. The Red Arrows had a late drive, marching down the field with four minutes to play, but they were stonewalled when it mattered most.
FHC is now 6-0 on the season. They will take on Greenville next week. Lowell slides to 4-2, and they will look to bounce back against Grand Rapids Christian.
