The Coopersville Broncos entered Week 9 with the #26 playoff spot in the Division 3 rankings. As they battled with Hamilton, it would go a long way for the Broncos to secure a victory. They did just that, scoring the first 30 points in a 37-21 game.

Dylan Merlo got Coopersville rolling with a touchdown run in the first seventy seconds of action. The Broncos would push their lead to ten when Evan Raymond converted a 29-yard field goal.

In the second quarter, Coopersville added three touchdowns to blow this game wide open. The first two scores were Merlo, on carries of 6 and 18 yards respectively. Later in the quarter, Tim Allen hauled in a 7-yard touchdown to give the Broncos a 30-0 lead at halftime.

Hamilton finally found the end zone on a 1-yard carry by Ben Boehm midway through the third quarter. Coopersville would respond on a 5-yard touchdown run by Wes Near. The Hawkeyes would close out the night with two quick scores. Quentin Soerens tossed a touchdown to Tyler Berkimer, and Ethan Doxey carried the ball across the goal line.

Coopersville will now await their playoff announcement on Sunday. Hamilton ends their season with a 3-6 record.
