The West Catholic Falcons were due for an offensive explosion. They had only topped thirty points once in their last thirteen games. On Friday night, they got that offensive spark to ignite in a 49-19 win over the Holland Christian Maroons.

The first quarter of this game was filled with fireworks. Just over one minute into this game, Noah Arsulowicz passed to Hipp for a thirty-one yard touchdown. Seventy-seven seconds of game time later, Tim Kloska found the end zone on a twelve yard run to push the lead to fourteen points. This was set up by an interception by Travis Zdanowski. The Maroons would finally respond with a three-yard run by Will Huizenga to make it 14-6.

In the final minute of the first quarter, West Catholic scored a pair of touchdown. First, Tim Kloska ran thirty-seven yards through the defense for a score. Just a few plays later, Arsulowicz ran from a yard out to make it 28-6 after the first quarter of play.

In the second quarter, Arsulowicz again kept the football and ran three yards for a touchdown. With just under three minutes to go in the half, Tim Kloska scored his third touchdown of the night on an eighty-yard sprint through the Holland Christian defense. Travis Zdanowski hauled in two additional interceptions in the first half to keep the Maroons off the score board, and the running clock was in effect as they broke for halftime at 42-6.

Neither team scored in the third quarter, but a trio of touchdowns were scored in the final frame. Kaden Shook and Jordan Duncan paired up on a fifty-three yard touchdown in the opening seconds of the fourth quarter to halt the running clock. Six minutes later, it was back in effect after Dane Diaite ran it in from twelve yards out. Before the action was done, Will Huizenga and Jake Knot connected for another score for Holland Christian, moving the final to 49-19.

The Falcons had 524 yards of total offense in this game, 189 through the air and 335 on the ground. Tim Kloska led the ground attack with 12 carries for 235 yards and three scores. Noah Arsulowicz, who had all 189 passing yards, also added two rushing scores on just three carries.

Holland Christian (0-4) will look for their first win next Friday when they host Spring Lake. The Falcons (3-1) will host Allendale in a huge OK Blue battle next Friday night. That game will be LIVE on MSR.
