The Wisconsin football season is well underway, four weeks into the action now. Our team was on site for a pair of games this week. In game one, Greenfield had an offensive explosion in their win over Brown Deer. In the other contest, Milwaukee South used a strong running game to take down Milwaukee Pulaski.
The phenomenal five performances that we saw this week:
Alex Boyko (Greenfield): Boyko was a jack-of-all-trades in the win, leading the rushing attack with 47 yards, and catching three passes for 73 yards. He scored two touchdowns, one through the air, and another on a 60 yard interception return for a touchdown. He also scored on a two-point conversion.
Chris Lopez (Greenfield): Lopez played his best game of the season, completing 10/13 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns against Brown Deer.
Corey Williams (Milwaukee Pulaski): Corey Williams had twelve carries to carry the load for Pulaski’s running game. He accounted for all three touchdowns that the Rams were able to score in their narrow loss to Milwaukee South.
Joel Santa Maria (Greenfield): Joel Santa Maria led the way on the receiving end, hauling in seven passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns in their win over Brown Deer.
Karon Peters (Milwaukee South): The Cardinals’ runner needed just four carries to make a large impact. He ran for 102 yards and a touchdown, and he also returned a pivotal kickoff 80 yards to give South the lead back.
