FRIDAY’S SCORES

Godwin Heights 63 Northpointe Christian 44

The Godwin Heights Wolverines are one of the hottest teams in the area, and they continued their impressive run on Friday night. After a 1-5 start to the year, things have completely turned around for Godwin Heights. Tonight’s impressive win over Northpointe Christian is their twelfth straight. They also clinched the OK Silver Championship with tonight’s win. They wrap up their regular season next week with a Friday contest against Calvin Christian, with a chance to keep their momentum heading into the playoffs.

Grand Haven 64 Grandville 62

Muskegon Reeths-Puffer 49 Fruitport 28

Forest Hills Central 76 Ottawa Hills 45

The Rangers hosted Ottawa Hills on Friday night, and they controlled this one from the tip-off. A 32-4 run by Forest Hills Central helped expand their lead to 40 points at its peak. Perimeter defense was a strong point for the Rangers, as they held Ottawa Hills to 4/20 from beyond the arc. Jimmy Scholler led all scorers with 26 points on a 9/14 shooting night. Mitch Wilkinson was the other Ranger in double figures with 14, and he led the team with eight rebounds.

Holland Christian 52 Calvin Christian 47

Hudsonville 75 Wyoming 74

Brendan Schueller and Nate Bareno led the Rams with a 14 point night, and they were joined by Sam Krist (twelve points) and Bennett Williams (ten points) in double figures.
