The MHSAA season is flying by, as teams have now played eight of the nine regular season games. A quick look back at last week’s top performances:

Connor Agan (Reed City): The Coyotes continued their undefeated season with a blowout of Newaygo. Agan had three touchdowns in the win on rushes of 5, 7 and 58 yards.
Erik Grabow (GR Catholic Central): The Cougars got a key win over West Catholic on Friday night. Grabow scored a key touchdown late, his second of the night. He had 25 carries for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Gabe Taylor (Zeeland East): The Chix defeated the Dux in the annual crosstown showdown. The senior quarterback led the charge for Zeeland East as he accounted for five touchdowns, two rushing and three through the air.
Tanner Ching (Tri-County): The Vikings won their fourth game of the season against Central Montcalm. The senior tailback had 33 carries for 239 yards and 5 touchdowns in the win.
Teagan Linderink (Rockford): The Rockford kicker not only made all of his kicks this week, but he also flashed some offensive skills. On the opening kick of the second half, he fielded a fumble and ran 40 yards to the end zone for a touchdown. This was a huge momentum swing in their win over Grandville.
