For the fourteenth season in a row, the West Catholic Falcons will be playing in the postseason. After a dominating win over Sparta, in which the Falcons did not allow a single point, they improved their record to 6-1, good enough for them to qualify for the state playoffs.

Just twenty-four seconds into the game, quarterback David Fox found Aaron Hall for a 68 yard touchdown to put the Falcons in front 7-0. Fox would score two more touchdowns in the first quarter, as he used his legs to score a three yard touchdown, and then used his arm to throw a 29 yard strike to Sam Neville to put West Catholic up 21-0 after the first quarter.

The second quarter was much like the first as West Catholic outscored the Spartans 21-0. David Fox scampered for a four yard score to start the scoring, and then found Sam Neville yet again on a fifteen yard pass. The final touchdown of the night for West Catholic was a one yard run by Dom Stormant, his first rushing score of the season.

Fox had yet another strong night under center as he was 8 for 9 for 168 yards and a trio of touchdowns, while also using his legs to rush for ten yards and two scores. Sam Neville was efficient hauling the ball in as he recorded three catches for 48 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Falcons outgained Sparta 370-102, and limited the Spartans to just 25 yards passing. Since losing to Zeeland West, West Catholic has outscored its four opponents 183-14, building large amounts of momentum into their huge matchup against undefeated archrival Catholic Central next Friday night.
