Wyoming and Comstock Park have met in each of the past four seasons, all wins by Comstock Park a combined 120-56. This year, the Wolves scored thirty unanswered points to end the game, a 37-8 blowout victory, their first ever win against the Panthers.

Donnie Burritello led the Wyoming offensive charge as he found the end zone four times. He scored on a two yard run in the first quarter to open the scoring column. After Comstock Park scored in the first quarter to take the lead, Burritello responded with another two yard touchdown to give the Wolves a 16-7 halftime lead.

The second half was all Wyoming as they scored 22 points. Burritello scored two more touchdowns in the second half of twenty-one and three yards respectively. Wyoming’s defense also contributed to the scoring column as they saftied Comstock Park in the fourth quarter.

For the Wolves, the 2-0 start is their best since 2012, when they won a program record five games. They will begin OK Gold conference play next week as they host Grand Rapids Christian. Comstock Park drops to 1-1 on the year, and they will begin OK Blue play next week as they travel to Coopersville.
