All throughout the 2017 season, West Catholic’s success has been hinged on their strong defensive play, as they held their opponents to 13.6 points per game, including a trio of shutouts. This week, their offense was on full display as they scored 72 points, their highest total in school history, in a 34-point win over Allendale. The Frankenmuth Eagles entered the season finale against Freeland undefeated for the third straight season on Friday night. Unlike the previous two years, the Eagles emerged victorious, a 20-7 win, clinching their first undefeated regular season since 2012. The Tri-County Vikings and the Kent City Eagles faced off on Friday night in the finale of the regular season for both teams. For Tri-County, it was the final game for their seniors, while Kent City was going for their first undefeated season since 1975.
