The 2017 MHSAA high school football season has come and gone, and the Michigan Sports Radio staff has been there every step of the way. For fourteen straight weeks, teams battled it out for the ultimate opportunity to crown eight State Champions.

1- Muskegon 14-0 Division 2 State Champions
2-Catholic Central 14-0 Division 4 State Champions
3-Forest Hills Central 12-1

6-Mona Shores 9-2
7-East Grand Rapids 9-1
10-Zeeland East 9-1

After such a remarkable season in which the area had surprise stories (West Ottawa), traditional powers (Muskegon, Catholic Central, West Catholic) and everything in between, the Michigan Sports Radio would like to thank you for letting us be a part of your Friday night experience. Speaking for all of our photographers and broadcasters, we all love covering high school football, and we look forward to ramping up our coverage for an even better campaign in the 2018 season. Continue to check in to the website throughout the winter, as the MSR staff will be on the road covering select MHSAA Basketball games each week, as well as providing top teams and players in the area.
