The Cougars of Catholic Central, earned a hard-fought Division 4 State Championship win Friday night against the Yellowjackets of Birmingham Detroit Country Day. The 13-1 Cougars played stellar defense, like they did all season, to secure a 10-7 win.

Catholic Central split the OK Blue Conference championship with Allendale and West Catholic this fall. They topped Allendale twice, once in week three, and another time in the district finals. A 20-3 loss to West Catholic was the lone blemish on their record, but their defense stepped up the rest of the way as they allowed just seventeen points over their final six games.

This was Catholic Central’s first State Championship since 2010, when they won the Division 4 title over Williamston. Below are the game-by-game results for the Cougars this fall, including links to a handful of game recaps from throughout the season.
