On Friday night, Tri-County and Remus Chippewa Hills, two teams in the four-way tie amongst the top of the CSAA Gold standings, met in a matchup for a share of first place. Mother Nature ended this contest at the half, but this game was well in hand as Remus Chippewa Hills led 40-0.
