For Tri-County, the 2016 has experienced the high of a close win, and the lows of a blowout loss. Entering tonight, the Vikings had two of each, and they entered the game against Reed City with a 2-2 record. Unfortunately for Tri-County, Friday night was another blowout defeat as the undefeated Coyotes won 55-0.

Just under two and a half minutes into the game, Reed City started the scoring on an eleven yard pass. The ball just kept rolling for the Coyotes’ offense as they scored seven more times in the ball game.

Phillip Jones had two large touchdown runs of twenty-seven and seventy-six yards a piece to spark the run game for the Coyotes. Four other tailbacks scored in the contest as well, as they just dominated on the front line and in the run game.

For Reed City, they improve to 5-0 on the season, and they appear to be the front-runner in the CSAA-Gold Conference. Tri-County is still alive in the postseason hunt as they sit at 2-3 on the season, but next week’s game at Grant is a must-win if they want any opportunity to reach the state playoffs.
