Aquinas baseball eliminated from postseason contention

Aquinas College has built a successful baseball program over the last 45 years under head coaches Terry Bocian and Doug Greenslate. The Saints have enjoyed playoff berths just about every season in the last two plus decades, but this year will be a rare exception. The Saints were swept by the University of Northwestern Ohio over the weekend, and have since dropped two more games to Indiana Tech, officially eliminating Aquinas from the postseason. Rockford’s Parker Ehinger drafted in 4th round by Chiefs

Good guys don’t always finish last. Sometimes, they get selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL draft’s fourth round. Former Rockford Ram Parker Ehinger is taking his football career to the next level; after playing college ball at the University of Cincinnati, Ehinger is now a Kansas City Chief. The 6-foot-7, 290-pound offensive lineman is the highest-drafted Ram since Joe Staley in 2007, and could compete for starting time at guard for Kansas City as early as this season.
